Ever since the Cavaliers knocked the Wizards out of the playoffs, I have hated them. This year, and last year. I was cheering for them in the Finals last year, but they disappointed me and the Spurs beat the snot out of them.
Then, they played this year in the playoffs, and the Wizards lost the series to them. So I got mad at them. It might sound stupid, but I'm not kidding.
And now the Cavs are done!!! HA HA HA!!! The Celtics beat them 97-92.
Paul Pierce and LeBron James had a little battle. They scored back and forth like a match between Larry Bird and Dominique ! Wilkins once. Pierce had 41 and James had 45. It was the same in the other game, Wilkins scored more, but the Hawks lost. Plus, the Bird-era Celtics went on to the next round and played Detroit, which is the same position that the Garnett-era Celtics are in. They'll move on to the Eastern Conference Finals to play Detroit.
And the result of the Spurs-Hornets game in the Western Conference Semifinals was that the Spurs won 91-82. Manu Ginobili led them with 26 points. Tony Parker added 17 and Tim Duncan had 16 points and 14 rebounds.
The Hornets were led by Chris Paul's 18 points, 8 rebounds, and 14 assists. Paul fouled out. David West had 20 points and 9 rebounds, Jannero Pargo had 18, and Tyson Chandler had a double-double of 13 points and 15 rebounds.
Let's watch this video one more time:
Just think about that. And this question. Why did the Spurs win?
