Eng to help victims of attacks
England has arrived in India ahead of their test series with the home team. The English side says they will give half of their match fees of the first game to those affect by the recent terror attacks in Mumbai.
In a statement released earlier the players said they would donate around 35 000 pounds to victims of the attacks.
Top order batsman Alaistar Cook says, the open and public statement for the support for the Indian people following the tragic attacks was one of the key reasons the players agreed to return.
England will also be eager to get an early win in the test format. India were leading the ODI Series 5-0 before it was cancelled when the violence began.
