playoff predictions

Here is a short rundown of who I think will go on to the next round.

1 Lakers- 8 Jazz
Lakers in 5
The Jazz managed to pull one out, but I expect it to be the only one.

2 Nuggets-7 Hornets
Nuggets in 6
The Hornets barely got past Denver to win a game, but it doesn't seem like too much.

3 Spurs-6 Mavericks

Mavericks in 6

The Mavs are up 3-1! , but before they go on to win the series, I think the Spurs will work their butts off to win the next one.

4 Blazers-5 Rockets

Rockets in 7

Yao Ming said he would bring them past the first round, and Luis Scola is really helping that cause.

1 Cavs-8 Pistons

Cavs in 4

These aren't the same Pistons as last year. You can blame it on the Billups-Iverson trade, but it is not just that. The Pistons are just not working well together.

2 Celtics-7 Bulls

Celtics in 6

Ben Gordon really wants to surpass the Celtics this year, but it probably won't happen. Boston is a good team, even without KG.

3 Magic-6 76ers

Sixers in 7

The Sixers are blowing the minds of bas! ketball fans across the world, and I think they deserve to go ! on to th e next round.

4 Hawks-5 Heat

Heat in 6

At first, I thought Atlanta had this series locked up. But Dwyane Wade and the Heat are really fighting to get past these guys. After a measly 15 wins last year, look for the Heat to fight at least to the next round.
