Proteas Make Early Breakthrough

South Africa have made the best possible start on day two of the fourth and final test against England at the Oval.

England resumed the day on 49 for 1 with Ian Bell and Allistair Cook still at the crease. Bell didn't last too long. He was caught in the slips by Graeme Smith off the bowling of Makhaya Ntini for 24, adding just two to his overnight score.

Bell's wicket brings Kevin Pietersen to the crease in his first innings as England captain.
