F1 : 2008 - Super Aguri buyout collapses

Thursday, April 17, 2008

Super Aguri have released a statement confirming that their potential purchasers the Magma Group, have pulled out of the planned acquisition. The team have also confirmed that current team principal Aguri Suzuki is continuing his negotiations with other potential purchasers.

R.I.P Aguri? I only hope they will a new purchaser to rescue this minnow :)

I truly like this team, their fighting spirit and never give up really impress me, I just remembered when Davidson said i! n Australian GP 2008," I am happy to have good race and to bring back home the car"... My goodness, they are really lack of spare parts... what things can even go worse than that? Compare to McLaren or at least Honda, Jenson never feels worries of the car's spare parts.

Update:

According to the German Magazine, Super Aguri is given 3 days only to save their future in F1. If they can't find the buyer or the investor then they will not go to Barcelona and may the rest of the 08 season. I just hope they will find the right investor, the grid won't be complete without this great small team.
